Lira Home Inspections is a locally owned and operated inspection company proudly serving the Bay Area, Central Valley, and Sacramento regions. We provide thorough, unbiased home inspections designed to help buyers, sellers, and property owners make informed decisions with confidence.

With a strong background in construction and hands-on field experience, owner and inspector Mitch Lira takes a detailed, practical approach to every inspection. Each inspection is performed with care, clear communication, and attention to safety, functionality, and visible defects at the time of the inspection.

I found Lira Home Inspections through a recommendation on the Discovery Bay & Brentwood Facebook group. I was in need of a four-point inspection for new homeowners’ insurance after my father passed away. I reached out to Mitch and he quickly got back to me with a time and date he could come to my home and take a look at everything. My home is a secondary residence, so I was able to give him access without having to be there. He provided a thorough report and even sent me the drone footage his team shot for my records. There were some repairs I needed to make and Mitch, the owner of Lira Home Inspections, said he would be willing to come back to do a re-inspection for me if needed. He recently reached out to see if I was still in need of his services, which I appreciate so much. Thankfully after making some repairs, the new insurance company wrote the new policy without issue.
